On Tuesday, May 28, I had a great time photographing two wonderful young ladies for a real “western” style photo shoot in Norco. These ladies were very photogenic, and their outfits couldn’t have been better. Better yet, their mother joined the fray and also made for some great images.
A one hour shoot stretched into three hours, and I finally had to call it quits. Even so, I feel that the girls and their mom did an awesome job, and their photos prove it! Thanks for a great shoot, ladies!
Had a great time with Syl Arena on Saturday, May 11th in Long Beach, California on his tour of the US promoting the new Canon 600 ex-rt flash system. A very intense all-day program that really delved into the ins and outs of this new system. I was so impressed by a YouTube video Syl put out for the Canon Learning Center last year that I decided to do all of my flash photography with this new system instead of going the add-on radio route, i.e. Radio Poppers or Pocket Wizards. Much more flexible and a great on-camera way to get into a very smooth & robust workflow while shooting at a fast pace. These flash units and the integrated Canon radio system are my first choice now for all portrait shoots.
